COMMUNICATIONS
An integrated and coordinated communications strategy best serves any institution or organization that cannot regularly depend on face-to-face relationships with its constituents. Often the administrative organization of advancement offices creates a patchwork of communications efforts that can confuse, mislead or even alienate constituents.
Effective communications efforts are based on an articulated larger strategy for relating to constituents, producing programming and services, and building long-term relationships. Coordination of goals and objectives across advancement offices, the use of consistent visual and verbal messaging, strategic branding and the use of the Internet are key tools in integrating the way an institution positions itself and relates to a wide variety of constituents
