EUSTACE D. THEODORE

Eustace TheodoreEustace Theodore is the immediate past President of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), the international association for professionals in the disciplines of alumni relations, communications, and development at colleges, universities, and independent schools in the United States and 42 other countries. He has been an active leader within CASE for more than a decade. Prior to becoming president, he served on the Board of Trustees (1992-1997), on the CASE Europe Board and as Chair of the CASE Commission on Alumni Relations.

Prior to his years as president, Eustace served as Executive Director of the Association of Yale Alumni (1981-1997) and as Dean of Yale’s Calhoun College (1972-1981), while teaching in the departments of American Studies and Sociology. During these years he worked from time to time as a management consultant to business interests on problems of organizational change and corporate strategy. He earned a B.A. in economics from Yale University in 1963 and a Ph.D. in organizational behavior/social psychology from Cornell University in 1967.

Within the consortium he focuses his work on providing guidance on strategic issues in all three advancement disciplines, executive coaching of CEO's and senior management, program audits and strategic planning.
