LINDA WEIMER
She has been a consultant on university relations issues to the University of Florida; University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill; University of California, Davis; Oregon State University; and North Carolina State University. She has been a volunteer leader in many national organizations, including AAU, NASULGC, ACE and CASE. She also serves as a trustee of her alma mater, Cedar Crest College in Allentown, PA. She co-authored the book, Reaching Out: How Academic Leaders Can Communicate More Effectively with Their Constituents for which she received CASE’s Alice Beeman Award in 1998. Ms. Weimer holds a B.A. in Biology from Cedar Crest College; and an M.S. in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Within the consortium, Weimer specializes in government affairs, cost-effective communications programs, presidential transitions, crisis communications, speech writing and program evaluations.
