OVERVIEW ON PROJECTS

  • Reviewing the effectiveness of the fundraising, alumni relations or communications functions, to better integrating all advancement functions.

  • Creating the information and the action base for a capital campaign

  • Working as an executive coach with the campus CEO and senior advancement officers to achieve specific organizational and interpersonal objectives.

  • Auditing the alumni relations function to increase response to programs and services in the context of unchanging resources.

  • Creating a comprehensive communications strategy to accompany a major campaign.

  • Assessing the resources necessary to build an effective community engagement program using new technologies on the Internet and web.

  • Developing a plan to raise a targeted amount of money for a capital project in an environment where little prior experience with such projects exists.

  • Providing communications and volunteer recruitment strategies to increase regional association/chapter membership and participation.

  • Developing stronger alumni involvement with the institution through a more effective class and regional club structure.

  • Institutionalizing a forum for constituent experts to act as advisors for new high tech-related initiatives.

  • Increasing the effectiveness of annual giving programs.

  • Integrating an alumni-focused web presence into the larger university site.

  • Analyzing e-commerce opportunities within the context of the institution's goals.
